Maxmilián is a chance for next year



On Saturday, November 4, this year's racing season in Chuchle Arena Prague ended. The highlight of the derniere program, thirteenth part of the season, was the 7th PP Asset Management Prague Winter Favorite Stakes (1800 m, 100 ths CZK) for 2yo horses. It brought the easy winner, only one Czech bred horse in the field of five, Maxmilián, who won by seven lenghts and stayed unbeaten also after his second lifetime race.

max.jpgRepresented and bred by Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov Maxmilián won after good progress in homestretch, jockey Jiří Chaloupka won this race for the first time, trainer Allan Petrlík and owner/breeder Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov repeated the year 2021, when their star Zamico won. At the same time, trainer Allan Petrlík achieved his 400th trainer victory according to Jockey Club internet statistics.

 

 

 

 

 

zoa.jpgPetrlík and Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov won two races on this day, when 2yo filly Zoja Top (half-sister of Zamico) won maiden race for Czech-bred horses, final race of Fitmin Cup series and rider Simona Laubeová (winner of Ladies Cup 2020) ended her two-year wait for the win. Rabbit Trhový Štěpánov became the overall series winner already for the sixth time.

Another one double came on this afternoon, when trainer Karel Germič won two races.

After the final race, the champions of this year metropolitan season were announced and decorated: last year's titles were defended by jockey Petr Foret, trainer Miroslav Nieslanik and owner MUDr. Eva Nieslaniková, only in the female rider category there was a change and last year's winner Martina Havelková was replaced by Alena Plimlová, who in her most successful season to date is also attacking the title in the all-republic women's championship BoKaBau Ladies Cup.
